Hsuan Yu Pan is a Taiwanese American documentary filmmaker whose work explores immigration, cultural memory, and identity through intimate, character-driven stories.

Based in New York City, she produced community-centered documentaries at BRIC TV from 2011 to 2020. Pan has directed over four short films amplifying immigrant voices across generations and regions. Her latest completed film, Weaving, is a collaboration with artist Ludmila Christeseva, and she is currently developing her feature documentary Hear, Eat, Home, about immigrants in the U.S. navigating life in a new country while staying connected to their roots.

Her films have screened at festivals worldwide and are recognized for their emotional depth, empathy, and cinematic precision.
